THE BEACH CLUBS

For the beach-lovers among you, The Indigo Beach Club is approximately 8 minutes' walk away and Kalkan's harbour, (with free water taxi services to a variety of other beach clubs around the bay including Palm Beach Club, Zest Beach Club and the Mahal Beach Club) is within 10 minutes walk. In addition, the Yali Beach Club and Kalkan's lovely pebbly beach are also approximately 10 minutes' walk away.

THE BEACH'S

To the left of Kalkan harbour, sits Kalkan's white pebble beach which is hugely popular with vistors and locals. The water is incredibly clear and often calm, making it very good for snorkelling and swimming.

Patara beach (as pictured) is approximately a 20 minute drive from Kalkan and makes for a great day out. There is a café/restaurant at the end of the boardwalk that sells food and drink, and also hires out sunbeds and parasols.

On the road between Kalkan and Kas, there is a long flight of steps (almost 200!) which leads onto Kaputas beach, which is formed by a gorge that opens out into a stretch of sand. It is a popular beach with locals and visitors, and can get very busy over the Summer months. The beach is often visited by Gulet's and yachts for it's Turquoise waters and good swimming too.

Saklikent Gorge

Saklikent Gorge is the second-largest (20 km-long) gorge in Europe. Tour operators in the area offer tours to Saklikent Gorge.

Patara Ruins & Beach

Founded in the V century BC, Patara was the largest port of Lycia. The ruins show Temples that were once home to Roman Emperors.

Jeep Safaris & Boat Trips

The local area has many Jeep Safaris and boat trips, including The Kekova Boat Trip, where nature unites with history.

Water Sports

Depending on how active or adventurous you want to be, you can choose from having fun on a jet ski or inflatables, taking a kayaking tour or doing a spot of scuba diving/snorkelling.
